Forever Wild

Scattered Ash Release

Personal Visit Release

Lifesavers will host you and your family for the release of your loved one’s ashes onto an area of our Wild Horse Canyon Sanctuary in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Foothills of Caliente, California where our rescued horses roam freely. A memorial stone engraved with your loved one’s name will be placed at our memorial garden on the sanctuary. You are welcome to video the release and ceremony as a long lasting keepsake. An option we also provide is to have our own Sanctuary Reverend, Craig Boyd, say some inspirational words, recite a poem of your choosing, or an approved prayer during the ceremony. A minimum donation of $5000 is requested for this service.

Long Distance Release

For those unable to make the trip to the sanctuary we offer a long-distance release. The Lifesavers staff would perform the release ceremony within the sanctuary and Reverend Craig Boyd would deliver any prayer or poem you provide or request. We will video tape the release and place a memorial stone engraved with your loved one’s name at our Sanctuary Memorial Garden to rest forever among our rescued wild horses. You may send us a partial amount or the full amount of your loved one’s ashes. We recommend UPS delivery with tracking. A minimum donation of $3000 is requested for this service.

Forever Wild - Written by Bruce P

My wife was born into a world of horses. They were her first true love. I was lucky enough to be her second. I sadly lost her last September after a lengthy illness. A part of her final wishes were that her ashes be released “where the wild horses run”. Thus my search began.

In April of this year Lana’s ashes were released at a perfect spot within the Born to be Wild sanctuary. A memorial stone was placed at the spot that simply said;

Remembering and Missing Lana

You are at home. You are at peace.
